destination for tufting in the
Gulf and the Middle East.
Tuft.jo was founded out of a deep passion for hands-on craftsmanship and a desire to build a creative space beyond traditional full-time work. The founders come from diverse creative backgrounds in design and animation, and despite their professional careers, they felt the need for a tangible, creative outlet that allowed them to work with their hands and reconnect with making.
The journey began with self-driven exploration into tufting. Over nearly nine months, the founders went through an intensive learning phase filled with experimentation, trial and error, and continuous refinement before achieving their first result they were truly proud of. During this process, a clear challenge emerged: a significant lack of reliable educational resources in both English and Arabic, and the absence of a structured tufting community in the Middle East. Information was fragmented, difficult to access, and often discouraging for beginners.
This challenge became the foundation of Tuft.jo. The brand was established to bridge this gap by building a complete tufting ecosystem that supports individuals at every stage of their journey. Tuft.jo offers professional tufting tools, hands-on workshops, online training, dedicated technical support, and carefully handcrafted art pieces. What we stand for is accessibility, empowerment, and community—making tufting easier to learn, better supported, and more connected across the region. Tuft.jo exists to help creatives start, grow, and thrive without facing the same challenges encountered at the beginning of the journey.
